More Holiday Mini Sessions

Getting back into business as a photographer in another state and after the big life change of having a child of my own, I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to start it off right this past month by staying busy and photographing wonderful families. Here is select work from two family mini sessions last weekend.

Next year my hope is to keep going and add on to my services in a big way: photographing BIRTH! I’m studying up with lots of reading and brushing up on my knowledge of low light photography and ISO, etc! I’m also learning what it means to be “on call.” I hope to take a course in the business of Birth Photography and get certified as a doula. These are my resolutions and challenges (good challenges) for the new year! Big things on the horizon! There’s no looking back as my Grandfather once told me!

Ternes Family Holiday Photos

It’s that time of year! Bust out that holiday cheer! I had the pleasure of photographing a new friend’s lovely little family and aren’t they just the cutest! Michigan makes Fall family photographs a little more challenging, especially when the snow and frigid cold arrive about a month early! We got lucky last Saturday with a reprieve from the snow, although it was still pretty cold, but this family made smiling in the cold weather look easy!

A mother and daughter duo! This was a few years back, but I wanted to start off this "Current Work" blog with something not-so-current, but fun! This photo shoot was the epitome of fun, just like the ladies in the photos! Both of their personalities shine through the images!
